About
Daeda Tech's marketing site, daeda.tech - the front door to our HubSpot apps. It's where operators discover what we build, read the docs, and book a demo, and it's the growth engine for Daeda AI. I own it end to end: design, build, copy, and search.
Built to convert
I rebuilt daeda.tech on Astro for full control, then redesigned it around a single job: move a visitor from the landing page, to the product, to a booked demo. Product pages share one deep-dive layout, each with an animation that shows the product actually working, and the whole site now leads with its Daeda AI story through tighter copy and flow. The branded visuals - animated SVGs and generated image assets - come out of Remotion so they stay on-brand at volume. It's also fast and lightweight, so pages load quickly.
I've been giving my site a conversion-focused redesign

Some bits I shipped:
- easy flow from landing -> product -> book a demo
- boosts for seo like more internal linking, hubs, comparisons
- templated deep dive layout for product pages
- animations to see the product in action pic.twitter.com/ScEmD5Am6e
Built to be found
Then I made sure people could find it. I shipped SEO and AEO across the marketing site and the docs so both Google and AI search - ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude - can surface and quote it. That meant structured data throughout, content shaped around the questions operators ask, cleaner titles and headings, and internal linking that ties the marketing site and docs together.
Results
In twelve months the site went from a rebuilt brochure to a search-and-answer-engine acquisition channel, and the growth is earned rather than bought. Visitors are up ~5.6x year on year and 89% in the last 90 days, organic search visitors nearly tripled, and the site now gets referred by AI assistants - a channel that barely existed a quarter ago. In the monitored window it was the third most-cited domain in its category, ahead of around fifteen competing tools.
Migration
Built in Astro
Moved to Webflow
Back to Astro
Late 2024 · Built in Astro
The original daeda.tech, hand-built in Astro with a dark theme. The design has come a long way since.

2025-04 · Moved to Webflow
Switched to Webflow as the site grew - brand-led marketing site with homepage, per-product pages for each HubSpot app, and a CMS-driven blog.
2026-03 · Back to Astro
Came back to a self-hosted Astro site once Webflow got too limiting - its designer MCP couldn't implement branded components, and Astro was just faster. The site, docs, blog, and apps catalogue now live in one repo and ship through the same pipeline.

The Site Build
My personal site - the home for everything I make and think about. HubSpot apps, Chrome extensions, hardware builds, AI tools, writing and side projects all live here in one place, in a bold neobrutalist design. It's where I show what I've shipped, what I'm reading, and the lessons I keep coming back to.
Personal 2nd Brain
My personal life and learning OS - local-first, and where I think, track and create from. ## What It Does - **Knowledge:** book and film libraries with Goodreads and Kindle import, a proxy article reader with a reading list, a multi-board knowledge graph, a personal wiki, and an Excalidraw whiteboard for sketching systems. - **Study Partner (AI):** context-aware Claude chat with full library awareness, wired to the Claude Agent SDK. - **Life:** calisthenics and health tracking with progress photos and Chart.js stats, a dream diary with Gemini image generation, a family graph, a travel map with pins and photos, a calendar, and an end-of-day review. - **Creative:** live-coded music with Strudel and visuals with Hydra in a browser editor, plus a dance-video collection by style. - **Content and socials:** a blog editor that writes straight to markdown, a post library, a Buffer publishing panel, a creators feed, and cross-platform posting and growth stats. - **Ventures and tasks:** a ventures tracker and a local-first task board with pipelines and dependencies, moved off ClickUp. - **Dashboard:** stats and charts across every module, full JSON backup, and per-module import/export.
Daeda Command Center
The command center for running Daeda - one internal app where every marketing and business signal lives in one place and the AI has full context. It grew out of a deliberate choice to build an internal OS instead of buying tools, and it replaced a stack of scattered docs, spreadsheets and subscriptions. ## How It Works The loop is capture, file, surface, decide, express, and each area owns one stage. Scheduled fetchers pull from search consoles, site and product analytics, page-speed, CRM, video and the forums, each writing to a single structured store. Every room is a view over that one store. ## The Rooms - **Overview:** the morning read - top operating metrics across search, traffic, answer-engine visibility, demos, content and pipeline, with a what-changed feed and a needs-attention list. - **Work:** the desk - a weekly block plan, a worklog of done work, and one ranked next-best-work queue. - **SEO:** a search operating dashboard - performance, health, growth and tracking on live search-console data. - **AEO:** answer-engine visibility - share of voice, AI citations, the prompts we get cited in, and a recommendation queue. - **Socials:** community listening and video tracking, powered by Community Radar. - **Blog:** the writing room - a content pipeline and an editor that writes straight to the real markdown, previewed against the live stylesheet.
